Ecotoxicologist

• • Charlotte joined the aquatic ecotoxicology team at Cambridge Environmental Assessments in March 2025. Her interest in ecotoxicology and aquatic animals started during her undergraduate BSc (Hons) in Animal behaviour at the University of Chester and then continued into her Master’s MSc course in Applied Marine Science at the University of Plymouth. During her Masters’ she gained knowledge on toxin adsorption and toxins movements within the environment and trophic system. Outside of education she has extended her field knowledge by working with several NGO’s participating in their field studies. Charlotte will be helping to work on the GLP outdoor aquatic mesocosm studies, laboratory macrophyte studies and higher-tier aquatic ecotoxicological studies.
  • Charlotte is an Aquatic Ecotoxicologist, joining Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA) RSK, ADAS Ltd in March 2025. At CEA, Charlotte is involved in higher tier ecotoxicology studies, maintaining good laboratory practice with mesocosm studies, taxonomic identification and GLP culturing.
