Graduate Scheme – Ecotoxicologist

  • I joined the aquatic ecotoxicology team at Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA) RSK, ADAS Ltd in September 2025.
  • I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Wildlife Conservation from Nottingham Trent University, which is where my interest in aquatic ecology stemmed from.
  • During my degree, I gained experience in conducting freshwater invertebrate surveys in the UK and Europe, and particularly enjoyed the freshwater and marine ecology module in my final year.
  • After university, I gained hands-on experience working with an NGO in Belize on Manatee conservation and rehabilitation, and saw first-hand the impacts of aquatic toxicology on Manatees and their food source.
  • At CEA, I will assist in the delivery of outdoor aquatic mesocosm studies, higher-tier aquatic ecotoxicological studies, and taxonomic identification, whilst maintaining good laboratory practice.
