Graduate Scheme – Ecotoxicologist

• I joined Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA) RSK, ADAS Ltd in September 2025, as part of the RSK Graduate Scheme in the Environment and Ecology pathway.
• I hold a BSc in Environmental Geography with a placement year from the University of York, and an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford where I gained knowledge of scientific and socio-cultural conservation and restoration strategies and policy, causes of biodiversity loss, nature recovery solutions, biogeography, rewilding, remote sensing, and data analysis.
• As part of my undergraduate studies, I collaborated with the City of London Corporation to assess the impact of cattle grazing on heathland vegetation in Buckinghamshire, and completed a placement year in geo-environmental consulting at Leap Environmental Ltd.
• During my masters, I collaborated on a project mapping temperate rainforest distribution in Tayvallich, Scotland using drone-based LiDAR, in partnership with Highlands Rewilding.
• Within CEA, I will be helping the ecotoxicology team with higher-tier aquatic outdoor mesocosm and indoor microcosm ecotoxicological studies and laboratory analysis, working to good laboratory practice.
