Nadine is Head of Experimental Studies and Statistics, covering aquatic ecotoxicology and field-fate studies and associated data analysis.
Before coming to CEA in 2018, she worked as a senior research fellow in academic laboratories based both in the UK and Canada.
She has a scientific background in aquatic ecotoxicology and molecular genomics, with extensive experience in performing aquatic ecotoxicology studies using novel experimental approaches.
Nadine holds a BSc in marine biology, an MRes in aquatic ecotoxicology and a PhD in environmental metabolomics. Her research was focused on designing and implementing novel laboratory studies to discover molecular markers of sub-lethal toxicity in aquatic organisms.
More recently, Nadine used these approaches in a weight-of-evidence-based manner in environmental risk assessment and adverse outcome pathways, linking molecular changes to standard biological endpoints.
