Peter is a general chemical and allied industries consultant specialising in chemical regulatory compliance. He joined CEA over 15 years ago, after working for over 30 years in the general and allied chemical industries. He has experience in a range of industries, from laboratory to production and sales to senior management. In his previous position, he had direct responsibility for ensuring the company complied with all legislative requirements.
Currently, Peter is providing advice and guidance to companies on all aspects of chemical regulatory compliance. He has been involved with the REACH legislation since 2002, and now supports a large number of clients with regards to registration, dossier submissions, exposure scenarios, chemical safety reports, safety data sheets, substances of very high concern (SVHC), IUCLID 6 software, communication with Down Stream Users and supply chain communication, Classification Labelling and Packaging/Globally Harmonised System (CLP/GHS) classifications and notification, design of labels and preparation of safety data sheets.
With the introduction of UK REACH and other UK chemical regulatory compliance requirements, Peter provides support, including communication with the UK regulators, on behalf of CEA’s clients.
The EU fertilising products regulation came into force in July 2022 and Peter provides compliance support alongside other colleagues in RSK ADAS.
